Speaker:  Lee Omar CEO of Red Ninja Studios is an experienced app developer and has developed Internet of Things data driven apps in the areas of Smart Cities, Healthcare, Transport, Local Government Services, Energy and Retail.  He works directly with Chief Scientific Advisor to the Government on his Future Cities Foresight Project which is looking at cities and how they will develop up to 2065.  He sits on the BSI Advisory Board for Smart Cities Framework.  He worked as a founding partner of Hypercat – the standard for the Internet of Things being pushed by UK Government, working alongside ARM, IBM, Intel and BT.  He also advises CEO of NHS England Simon Stevens on the sue of Big Data and Internet of Things in healthcare.

In this seminar Lee will talk about collaborative projects he has worked on with over the last 12 months and explore areas of interest with the group around big data, internet of things and smart cities.
